Credentials

Keith Gipe has more than 28 years of construction experience.  As a  consultant and inspector. He has also performed over 1400 residential and commercial inspections in the past 12 years.

Keith maintains professional affiliations in ASHI & ICC.  He is a full  certified member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI #203499, since 1999) and the International Code Council (ICC certified member since 2001).  He is licensed in Florida as a Building Inspector and Building Plans Examiner

He is also former Vice-President (2003-2004) of the Georgia Association of Home Inspectors. Keith served as the curriculum developer and principal instructor for the Birch Academy for 5 years. During this time, he jointly taught the 2000 International Residential Codes to over 1400 builders as part of the Certified Professional Home Builders Program at the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association.

  • October 2005, Keith co-taught a course at Virginia Tech entitled "Designing and Evaluating Residential Walls with Large Openings" with Daniel Jewitt and Dr. Frank Woeste, Ph.D.

  • Serves on the Board of Directors for the Certified Professional Home Builders
